On the lower part of the historic center of Taranto, stands this beachfront property that has enjoyed for centuries a panorama that can only take your breath away, the main protagonist is the Mar Piccolo with its citri (freshwater currents) that make the world unique its seafood especially the famous tarantina mussel.
Family-owned since the end of the 19th century, this structure was formerly used as an economic home for fishermen and artisans who were the pulsing engine of the whole territory ... Anna was the great-grandmother of the current artisan owner who weaved the fishing nets and the traps (fish traps), with her lived the husband "cozzarolo" who owned the famous mussel gardens still observable today from the magnificent and charming terrace usable to all customers and from here you can enjoy the full view of the whole basin of the small sea including the stretch of the pen tip Pizzone bridge, but it is no less spectacular and acrobatic circling seagulls that you can observe as they seem to swoop in the sea in search of fish.
